Last firing before the show

One last firing before the show, and I’m happy to say that every piece
turned out beautifully.

Sometimes it seems that no matter what you do, life just happens. Like grains of dust in an evolving universe, our lives whirl around and form themselves into interesting shapes and we collide and separate in a spectacular show that sometimes ends up how we thought and sometimes doesn't. C'est la vie.
Best of luck with that.
ReplyDeleteI sense doubt in my ability to get this done - I share your doubt but it will happen later if not sooner :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry if it sounded like I was suggesting doubt. I don't know enough to judge your ability to get it done one way or the other. (Why why WHY can't I keep from using the wrong words?)
ReplyDeleteSadly, this is not the only time I said the wrong thing on someone else's blog. I don't want to go into details about the comment, but while the person didn't say so exactly, it was obvious that I offended them. I had not meant to offend that person, and I apologized for upsetting them. They said they weren't upset but that it was just a "forceful reply". Even so, the tone of the "forceful reply" was enough for me to feel really, really guilty, which I often do when I've done something stupid, rude, etc., and there are times when tears are involved on my end.
Again, I'm sorry if my words suggested doubt. But I do hope you're able to get done what you need to get done.
I was kidding. I'm not offended at all. In fact, we're moving forward much faster than I thought we would (given our turtle-like tendencies). I would post new pictures but I haven't downloaded them from the camera yet. My husband has leapt into action (unlike the masonry contractor) and things are already being installed. If all goes well this weekend, the demo should be complete by Sunday and then, it's pizza every night. Yay!
