My mom might come by so I thought I'd tidy up a little. Put up a picture of my demolished kitchen in progress.
Sometimes it seems that no matter what you do, life just happens. Like grains of dust in an evolving universe, our lives whirl around and form themselves into interesting shapes and we collide and separate in a spectacular show that sometimes ends up how we thought and sometimes doesn't. C'est la vie.
Hmm, interesting. The demolished kitchen reminds me of when my mom and stepdad decided to renovate the bathroom. There used to be a blue toilet in there. The wall used to be brown and had a wood pattern. There used to be some sort of divider between the toiet and the counter. You wouldn't have guessed that now.
ReplyDelete(BTW, I noticed you had stopped by and commented on my blog "On the Road to the Rest of My Life," and I thought I'd return the favor.)
So, how's the kitchen project been going these days?
ReplyDeletePretty much stuck at the moment but should be moving along soon. We're interviewing contractors and putting together permit applications.
ReplyDeleteWe did pick out an appliance though. We're slow, what can I say?
